A share of every payment, for each customer's first year
Commission is worked out on what the customer actually paid, before GST, because the GST is never ours to share.
20% of monthly payments
When a customer pays for On the Move or the Career plan month to month, for their first 12 months.
15% of yearly payments
When a customer pays for On the Move or the Career plan yearly, on their first year.
What does not earn commission
Founding 100 and AI top-ups earn nothing. If you introduce an employer buying seats for its people, we agree a finder's fee for that deal.
For example, five customers on On the Move month to month who stay the year earn you about $99.
5% off, for their first 12 months
Anyone who comes through your link, or types your code at checkout, gets 5% off On the Move and the Career plan for their first 12 months, with the same 7-day free trial as everyone else. The free plan stays free while they are between jobs.
From your link to a bank transfer
A customer counts as yours if their first payment is within 45 days of clicking your link, or if they use your code at checkout. A code beats a link.
1. Join
For now, James invites the first partners himself. Later there will be an application form, and every one is reviewed by hand.
2. Get your link and code
A link to the home page, a code for people to type at checkout, ready-made banners and short copy to paste.
3. Share it
On your website, in a newsletter, on social media or in conversation. Say you may earn a commission.
4. Track it
Your dashboard shows clicks, sign-ups, trials, paying customers and commission. It never shows anyone's name or email address: only counts and amounts.
5. Get paid each quarter
By bank transfer in New Zealand dollars, once what you are owed reaches $100. A commission becomes payable 30 days after the customer's payment, and we issue your statement for you, so there are no invoices to write.
New Zealand, and no conflicts of interest
Partners are New Zealand residents, or New Zealand businesses, with a New Zealand bank account. Public servants, and anyone paid to advise job seekers in an official role, cannot join: for example Work and Income case managers, school careers advisers and publicly funded employment services. Their organisations are welcome to recommend us, unpaid.
Honest recommendations only
- No paid search ads for jobtracker.co.nz, and no bidding on our name.
- No spam: no unsolicited bulk email or messages.
- Say that you may earn a commission, and never misrepresent yourself, us or the relationship.
- Describe the plans honestly: the free plan is free while someone is genuinely between jobs, not "free forever", and nobody is promised a job, an interview or an income.
- Nothing that looks like a government service, and no paid or rewarded sign-ups.
Commission on a payment that is refunded, or charged back, is taken off. The full affiliate terms come with your invitation.
