Thursday 1 October 2026

Dear Mere Walker,

I am writing to ask for copies of my employment records at Kauri Point Bank.

Please send me a copy of my individual employment agreement, or my current terms and conditions of employment, under section 64(3) of the Employment Relations Act 2000.

Please also give me access to, or a copy of, my wage and time record for 1 April 2025 to 30 September 2026, under section 130(2) of the Employment Relations Act 2000, and my holiday and leave record for the same period, under section 82 of the Holidays Act 2003.

I would like to receive them by email to sam.hollis@example.co.nz. Thank you.

Kind regards,
Sam Hollis

How to use it

The agreement is due as soon as reasonably practicable (s 64(3)), the wage and time record immediately (s 130(2)), and the holiday and leave record as soon as practicable (s 82). Records go back up to six years. Sources: Employment Relations Act 2000 and Holidays Act 2003, checked 1 October 2026.

Section 64 covers individual agreements. If you are on a collective agreement, ask your union for a copy too. Keep a dated copy of your request.
